KOTA BAHARU, Dec 7 (Bernama) -- The structure of the KB Mall shopping complex where a car plunged from the third-floor car park after crashing through a retaining wall, is safe said state Tourism, Local Council and Culture committee chairman Datuk Takiyuddin Hassan.
He said representatives from the various departments who attended a special meeting today, namely Kota Baharu City Council-Bandaraya Islam (MPKB-BRI), Public Works Department (JKR), Police, Fire and Rescue Department and the KB Mall management disclosed that there were no defects or shortfalls in the approval of the building. The state government and the various departments that met today found nothing wrong in the structure of the building or its approval process. There were also no illegal extensions," he told reporters here today.
